VIN + OMI Illustration

I reflected the image, then mirrored it and added in an extra image to seem as though there are two lines of models in the picture. There’s collage of my own imagery over the top too and a few plastic bottles to promote what Vin and Omi is all about. (Vin and Omi make their clothes from recycled plastic.) The black and white people come out from the page, to stand in front of the bus. There’s a lot of mark making around the outside as that’s how I work unfortunately, but I do like the extra colour it brings to the final picture and the scratchy graphite marks.
The reflection and repetition is to overwhelm the viewer much like our plastic is overwhelming and destroying the nature in which we live. It’s done with watercolour and black fine liner pen.
